Michigan Sports Academies was initially founded in July of 2007 as Michigan Volleyball Academy (MVA). Our simple mission was to provide fundamental volleyball skill development during a 3 month club volleyball season (Mar – Jun).
It quickly grew to a successful year round program, offering three or six months of National, Elite, Regional and Competitive AAU club training and play, as well as volleyball camps, clinics, and private lessons to a growing group of athletes in the Grand Rapids area.
MVA develops athletes and coaches by using a tier training program where collegiate level coaches write the practice plans for all teams, helping to improve the athletes' volleyball skills.
While our mission continues to evolve, we still hold true to our fundamental approach to development and competition by training the individual first. Are you ready to join our team?
